“魍魉”在我国古代文献中有多重含义,其具体形象的发展存在着一个流变的过程,魍魉的最初形象并不可怕,应该是“兽类”“影子”,在流传过程中,受到历代造神运动的影响,“魍魉”的形象经历了先神化后妖魔化的过程,最终形成现在的鬼怪形象。
Abstract:
In the literature of ancient China, the word “wangliang”(demons and monsters)was polysemic. The image connoted in the word had undergone evolution. At first, the image of “wangliang” was not so terrible, and it might refer to the things like beasts or shadow. However, in its evolution, it was influenced by shaping of god. It has gone through the process from god to demon, and finally to the present image of ghost and monster.
